After losing everything they worked for, the Robinson family is forced to start over in a new city. While his parents struggle to rebuild their lives, 18-year-old Thomas begins his second semester in his senior year at an unfamiliar high school. His mother, Hannah, having recently been looking for employment to help pick things back up, stumbled upon a part-time job at Thomas's school as the head librarian. Desperate to keep his peers from learning who she is, Thomas tries his best to avoid the library and the rumors surrounding the "hot" new librarian lady.
